little black dress

The "little black dress" also known as LBD was introduced by the infamous Coco Chanel in the twenties. This piece of clothing is the "must have", "the essential", the "no girl can live without." I believe every girls need ONE, but one that fits like a glove, just like how Cinderella perfectly fit the glass slipper. Little black dresses can take you from a daytime look to a nighttime look within seconds.

In almost any store you walk into you will find a little black dress.  I just picked up my newest little black dress made of chiffon from H&M. Originally it was $49.95, but on sale for $7. The length of the dress is perfect. It falls right above my knee and hugs in all the right places.  I will definitely be getting a lot of use out of it.

From $50 to $7 !!!!

Are you scared people will know if you wear the same dress twice? Do you not like wearing the same pieces over and over again? Do you not like wearing the same pieces over and over again? Well don't worry you are not alone, I feel that way all the time. All you have to do is change up the dress and BAM! it looks brand new.  Think of the "little black dress" as a canvas. Now put your creative spin on it and make that canvas into a masterpiece.

5 ways to dress up your LBD

1. Style your hair (up, down, curls, straighten)
2. Add tights (colorful, designed, textured)
3. Shoes (bright and bold)
4. Jacket/ Cardigan (fur, leather, color)
5. Statement Jewelry (necklace, earrings, bracelets)

* Adding a Statement Jewelry is my favorite way
